March

A trap enjoying himself at a glory hole.

I tried some colours and lighting for this one. Generally speaking I think my colour choices lack vibrancy and contrast, but my approach to art is pretty reserved (in the sense that I don't move very far outside my comfort zones) so experimenting usually takes a backseat.

  1. I like the colour choices, nice calm pastels. Split analogous of Magenta, Blue-Violet, and Yellow. Solid. I think your sensibilities for colour are better than you give yourself credit for.

  2. If you were more willing to experiment every now and again, not all the time, but sometimes, I'd definitely be more inclined to become a patron of yours.

How's the progress coming along on Morning Wood chapter 5 by the way?

    1. The comic is progressing slowly at the moment, unfortunately. I've been procrastinating on some upcoming scenes and focusing on the backlog (like the boxing and the giants series) lately, but the pace is going to pick up soon.

Initially I wanted to wait until a certain point in the story was reached before posting anything, but it's probably better to post a few pages once a month instead since it's hard to remain invested in a comic that is supposedly ongoing but never actually updates. Quite a few webcomics die that slow death and it bothers me every time.

  3. I think your coloring approach fits your style very well.

    1. I've been meaning to add more volume to it though, or just more variation in general. I tend to pick from the same spots on the wheel every time, and when I look at other's works there are often significantly thicker colours involved.
